Hello,
my customer is using EventOn version 4.0.6 with WordPress version 5.8.4 and additional AddOn EventList Ext. The install has worked well all the time and now there are very irritating issues with time zone.
Now adding or changing events is quite difficult, because events seems to be put 2 hours later than entered.
We are on GMT +2 (Berlin, Amsterdam) and had this set in general settings. After checking the settings several times, out of a sudden time zone had switched to a complete other one (Samoa).
My customer now is very nervous and I will try to activate an older version of EventOn calendar. I think, that this could help for a while, but it is not a solution.
I have recognized that 5 days ago another customer had the same issues and asked for a patch fix. I have read this here in helpdesk. Is there anything available by now?
Best regards
May 18,2022 AT 12:47PM - 2 years ago -Hello,
Could you try going to EventON > Time Settings > enable Use UTC offset time globally on calendars (BETA) and see if it works?
Hello,
unfortunately this did brake all events… now the time and date is wrong on every of our hundreds of events, I am so frustrated. When I enter 15.00 and save the form, then it shows 17.00. And when I enter 16.30 it shows 18.30.
I have to set it back and to correct ALL events now.
Please provide me with a working version of the plugin. I have to roll back, we cannot work with that.
Best regards
Bettina
This form is NOT working, also after switching back to non-beta. It shows wrong time after saving, every time…
Hi Bettina,
I have provided version 4.0.5 in your other ticket. Please take a look.
Please send us wp-admin access to your site as a private message for us to further assist your situation.
We have to enter WRONG time to receive correct time in frontend. The date/time picker form is not working correctly, it switches time on entering and on saving. Please fix that as soon as possible.
I tried to re-create the issue on our test server and couldn’t. Can we please try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.

Could you send us a link to the ticket?
Sorry for my late reply, I have been on travel.
Here is the link to the other ticket: https://helpdesk.ashanjay.com/ticket/time-zone-issues/
I have a look into your linked documentation and get back to you.
Ok, now I could test everything in a staging system and I have to admit, that EventOn is NOT responsible for those time issues. It is another plugin, which is causing the trouble.
Sorry for my complaint!!
Best regards and thanks for everything
It is another plugin, which is causing the trouble.
