Is there a way to take the EventOn Calendar and publish it as an iCal file so that I can import it into Google Calendar?
Aug 16,2019 AT 11:47AM - 1 year ago -Hello,
Please go to EventON > Download all eventON events. > ICS FORMAT. Now you can import you all events.
Or go to EventON > EventCard Data > LEARN MORE & ADD TO YOUR CALENDAR. Now open event in Single Event Page and click GoogleCal.
Thank you for the response but this does not answer the question. Perhaps I was not clear in my explanation. So let me try and explain it better
I have EventOn – I have a bunch of events that I have created in EventOn. Now, I want to go ahead and have google calendar read those events and for it to be dynamic. So if I add an event in EventOn, it will, when google gets around to syncing up with the ical file, show up in my Google Calendar.
Right now, you guys have an ICS/Ical importer that supports a URL. This will let me get data into EventOn. I am trying to find out how to invert that and get EventOn data out via a URL into a Google Calendar, thus the request for an ical solution.
Thanks again for the help.
Unfortunately, the only option is to follow my previous suggestions. Automatic sync is not available at the moment so you need to manually export events from EventON Settings and then import them to your calendar.
There is a workaround for this.
Using the Eventon RSS feed add-on (https://www.myeventon.com/addons/rss-feed/) and this free service https://www.rsstocal.com/
You can generate an ICAL feed for your events. Within the add-on, you need to have the “Use Event Start Date as RSS PubDate” option turned on for the ICAL to be in the correct order.
Hello Tim Blankenship,
Thank you very much for the info!
