My company is using the QR code add-on for the events we’re having this weekend. I used the coding provided to create a check-in page but it doesn’t appear to be loading nor does manually entering the ticket ID to check in works.
Oct 9,2020 AT 8:52AM - 4 years ago -Hello,
Could you update Tickets add-on to 1.8.6? After the update could you make a couple of test orders so we can check them here: https://dream.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order
Just updated the add-on, the page still doesn’t seem to load for me
It seems to be working for me:

Could you check?
I can access the ticket info. I just haven’t been able to check-in using the QR code nor does entering the ticket ID number in the check-in box work.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
Okay thank you! I tried manually checking in guests over the weekend by looking up the ID # and clicking the option next to their name and noticed that wasn’t working as well because the Checked would revert.
Hey Chaz,
We appreciate the patience.
We have identified that issue and we are working closely on solving it. We appreciate the patience, issues do take just some time to get shorted out.
Hey, I was just checking in to see how the progress is on the issue. Let me know if you need any help on my end!
Hey Chaz,
Thank you for the patience.
We are working on it to get it solved out, unfortunately it does take a little bit more time than it should, but we are on track on providing a solution.
It’s all good! Do you guys have an estimated date of when you’d have an update on the fix?
We are sorry for the delay. Could you update Tickets add-on to 1.8.7?
I logged-in to your worpdress.com account but dream.org shows an empty page. Could you check?
There was an issue with plugins breaking the website. It seems to be back in order now
Hey Chaz,
So do you need any other help from us, or all good to go?
If you have a moment, we would greatly appreciate if you could kindly leave us a review at codecanyon! from your account > downloads. Cheers!
Yes I still need help getting the check-in system to work. I was explaining that the site is back up after an irrelevant issue.
Hey Chaz,
have you updated the plugin as requested, do you run all the latest versions?
All the plugins are up to date
It seems to be working now. I can load https://dream.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=3002&action=edit:
Could you try if QR Code works?
I can check in with that link but clicking the check-in button in the Event RSVPs list and/or scanning the QR code doesn’t work
I’m referring to Admin > Event > All Event RSVPs where it shows me the check-in button.
Also scanning the QR code brings up a blank page
so the checkin button seems to be working for me.
I think it was your divi builder is what was messing with the page. it is working now.
It seems to work on my end now too! What was the workaround you guys found for the builder?
Right now the only issue I’m still facing is checking in guests in the All Events RSVP pages. It goes green, but if you exit the page and load it again or refresh, it reverts back. I know it’s nothing much since the other forms of check in work now, but I was wondering if I was supposed to be able to just click check-in on those pages.

It seems that Ashan removed Divi elements from the page by changing the edit mode to Default.

I’ve contacted Ashan about this one. As a temporary solution could you go to Edit Event > RSVP > View Attendees > Check-in there.
Thank you this will be addressed in the version 2.6.13 of RSVP addon.
