Quick Edit causes time and dates to be changed to date of edit (not maintaining proper event dates)

Quick Edit causes time and dates to be changed to date of edit (not maintaining proper event dates)

This video should describe the issue to you: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1ijl4KhV3yV5u1ObhX9hrQiXQYBobi99V

As you can see, if you use “Quick Edit” to update something in an Event, it causes the original Dates and Times to be erased. Instead, it somehow overwrites them with the CURRENT date/time that the event was edited.

      Hello,

We did fix this in EventON 2.8.2 so now Quick Edit has the correct Event Date/Time. How it looks on our test server:

Could you please try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.

      Hi all,

I have the same problem since my update to 2.8!

I´ve dissabled all plugins with no result. There ist no possibility to save the correct date when setting up a new event (only the current time will be saved).

      My setup:

      • WordPress Multisite !?
      • Getting data via All Import Pro Plugin (this is/was running stable with no sideeffects)
      • I´ve updated EventON to the last version 2.8.3

      Christoph Steyer,

We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you create a separate ticket with included login info so we can check this?

Hello, it seems our issue was related to the Admin Columns Pro plugin. We were using that plugin to create a custom “view” in the backend of Events. When using that custom view, we were using the “Title Only” option, which still showed the Dates/Times during Quick Edit… but they were blank. When we changed the “Title Only” option to use the default “Event Name” field instead, then it works fine.

      • Example with “Admin Columns Pro” plugin deactivated: https://i.imgur.com/R5ZOWdO.png
      • Example with “Admin Columns Pro” plugin active: https://i.imgur.com/QLIJncd.png

I will submit a bug report to Admin Columns Pro devs.
