Scanning in QR Codes for volunteers?

Special situation for our customer for event tickets, whereby they have a huge annual event and they typically have about 20-30 volunteers scanning in tickets. Few questions related to this:

1. Is there a way to not require a specific role to checkin / scan QR codes?

2. I have about 12 roles on my website, but in the QR CODE settings I am only seeing the option to enable QR CODE SCANNING for the following: admin, editor, author, contributor. Is there a way to have other roles show?

I am open for ideas on this. I do have the QR CODE, ACTION USER plugins setup. Please advise.

      Hello,

Add more roles (“Volunteer”) by following https://wedevs.com/98266/add-custom-user-roles-wordpress/

After go to EventON > QR Code > Select user roles that is allowed to checkin guests.

I already have custom roles added, but they aren’t showing up in QR CODE section to select roles. Only showing editor, author, contributor, subscriber (corrected from original post).

Could you update QR Code to 1.1.5?
