Scheduled Event Marked as Completed
I have a repeating event that it shows as an upcoming event on my webpage but as completed. It has a cross mark over it, how can I reset that event.

Hi Paul,
If it is completed event you can change the date so it can be re-activated.
have you tried that?

Hi,
I tried that, actually, the event is set for August 31st, see attached.
The other strange thing is that I selected this option: Show other future repeating instances of this event on event card, however, the additional dates are nos included in the card, they are placed as additional events on the calendar (See IMAGE2).
I tried deactivating all the plugins as suggested on the troubleshooting, but there is no correction.
My best guess is that, once you create an event and you published, if you edit it in the future to add repeating events or to put a new date, it won’t work as intended. Is this the way the software is designed to work?

This is correct. The option shows instances on Event Card, but it doesn’t remove them from the calendar:

I appreciate your help but this is taking too much time, and as you can see, my webpage is offering training I have some clients asking about it.
I will delete the course that is cross-marked and I will create a new one. I should have probably done this from the beginning and not waste too much time.
I expected more from this support.

Hello Paul, sorry for not getting back sooner. So the event completed option is missing in eventon 2.9.1 there is a code error causing this. As you can found out one work around to all repeat events getting marked as completed is to create individual events instead of repeats.
Another option is to use https://www.myeventon.com/addons/repeat-customizer/ addon. Totally optional.
This addon will allow you to customize each repeat instance and set each repeat instance as completed. So only the once marked will be completed from the repeat series.
