set calendar to only show events for user based on level or role

I am using Paid Memberships Pro and Peepso. We have groups around the country with different events all the time. I would like to use the widget in Elementor to create 1 (one) calendar and have it display only the events for their group. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you.

      Hello,

With enabled Action User you can use these options:

Please check and let me know.

Thank you, I am familiar with that feature. The challenge is that I want to create 1 calendar that is in the sidebar for the template. Then, when users are logged in, it only shows events for their area. I think it would be something like the above recommended suggestion but that would only show the event calendar when those people are logged in. We have the same event, ie. “Meeting” that occurs in multiple cities. We then have members who log in with their user role and I need the calendar to show that “Meeting” calendar but only the dates and times for their city. Hope that is not too confusing.

From your description it seems that “Show only events from current loggedin user role” (currentuserrole=”yes”) is what you need, no? Please check and let me know.

No, you still don’t understand. That forces me to select 1 user role. I need 1 CALENDAR that only displays the events based on their role. So for example, If I am logged in as a Phoenix member I only see all the events for Phoenix, but if I am logged in as a Florida member I only see all the events for Florida.  The suggestion you gave would require me to create 2 calendars in that example.

When you are logged-in as a Phoenix member the calendar takes your user role and shows you events that has Phoenix member assigned in Edit Event > Action User > Manage Assigned Users. You don’t need to specify the user role, calendar does that automatically.

Description of “Show only events from current loggedin user role”:

This will show events that have been assigned with current logged-in user role type

I updated all the EventOn plugins today and now the Action User options you suggested in your image are not an option in my list. This has become an urgent issue, please help.

Ok, I purchased it but it still doesn’t do what I need:((( Like I said, I need ONE calendar that has all the events listed in the shortcode and only shows the events based on user role. With Action User Plus I have to select “Events with only these user roles” which means if I select “Phoenix” then it will be a calendar that only shows when Phoenix members are logged in. However I want the calendar to show ALL THE TIME and only show the Events that are relevant to that member.

So…one more time I need it to work like this

Calendar widget populated in sidebar with all events

Phoenix member is logged in and sees that widget but only displays the Phoenix Events

Florida member is logged in and only sees the Florida events

      Etc.

I hope I didn’t purchase the addon for no reason. Thank you

I have been working with the Action User Plus as recommended by you and it does NOT do what I need as described by all my tickets in this thread. I don’t need it and would like a refund. I do need to get the Reminders Addon so if you want to give me a credit to get it instead that will be fine. Thank you for your help

I checked your messages and I don’t think you mentioned this:

Calendar widget populated in sidebar with all events

      From your messages:

…have it display only the events for their group.

…when users are logged in, it only shows events for their area.

I need 1 CALENDAR that only displays the events based on their role.

In order to request a refund, please create a new ticket under Billing & Accounts and be sure to include the order ID for which you need a refund for and the reason for requesting a refund. Thank you!
