Hello! I have what I think should be a simple question… Nothing broken. But I have the Event Lists Extended add on and am trying to post short a list of dates (like 4 high) that people can scroll through future dates in that 4-high space (as if its a window) ~or~ at least load the “next 4” in succession without month divisions. The only “jumper” shortcake context I’m seeing is with months… Thank you very much!Jan 19,2017 AT 9:09AM - 3 years ago -

haha autocorrect… “short CODE” not shortcake 🙂
I realise this is not using events list extended but if you use
[add_eventon event_count=”4″ show_limit=”yes” jumper=”yes” hide_past=”yes” ]
you get this http://dannnymac.powweb.com/dm/daves-eventon-test/
the problem with that is they have to switch months at the top
is this OK or would you like it to be just a list (in which case I’ll elevate this to Ashan the plugin creator)
Thank you. It’s not terrible that way, but the reason I upgraded to events list was to get rid of the month-thing… I liked the little “show more events” element that appeared at the bottom. Something like that with no months in play would be great. Perhaps clicking it would show another “X” number of events? Possible?
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Unfortunately with event lists ext. addon you can not have that show more events button. However you can use a shortcode liek
[add_eventon_el event_count=”5″ number_of_months=”6″ ]
and have the calendar show next 5 events regardless of the month.
