We’ve noticed on a few orders additional tickets were created, although the customer only purchased a single event, EVO Tickets created two (2) tickets and our attendee sheet is showing two (2) entries/attendees as well.
I’m going through all our events to check for this behavior and I’ll post a private link for your review of the order in question.
Thanks!
Feb 16,2017 AT 1:44AM - 5 years ago -Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Can you please send us FTP and wp-admin again please I can not find the ticket where you posted those.
Hi Ashan,
It appears the issue is caused due to a malfunction by way of the payment gateway, our Authorize.Net DPM gateway creates the tickets prior to successful payment receipt and when the gateway encounters an issue, can erroneously toggle between pending/completed/failed, thereby causing EventON Tickets to create duplicate tickets for the same transaction as a byproduct.
I’ve since moved to a different Authorize.Net AIM Gateway (different vendor) that uses alternate methodology and if all goes well, it should resolve the issue. If the problem continues and isn’t gateway related, I’ll let you know.
Thanks!
ah ok and we are also changing the action hooks where the tickets are created and adding conditional checks to make sure if tickets are created then not create them again 🙂
