Subscriber all made inactive when I bulk published

I had recently installed the subscriber plug in and added myself as a subscriber.  I never get emails about events though.  Today I noticed the subscriber list had a lot of subscribers but they were all “draft” status.  I selected all subscriber and did a bulk update to change status to published for all subscribers.  This worked, to change the status, but it also changed them from active to inactive.  I cannot see how to change them back to active.  While you are in there checking on those drop-downs, can you please tell me if I’ve got our subscribers set up properly so that they begin to receive emails?  I would deeply appreciate that.

      So first go to myeventon->settings->subscriber and check all the options you have available there.

      It looks like you have “Save subscribers as draft” enabled. That is why all subscribers are set as draft.

      Regarding status, go to events->all subscribers and just click on the Subscribe Status, which will change them to Active again.
