Text is lost behind featured image

After I set the featured image shortcode, the event name and date are hidden behind the image. I used CSS to edit, but it doesn’t fix all event types. http://thehuntstore.staging.wpengine.com/

  You have custom styles in here that make the image move further in than how it should be as you can see in our demo site. We do not have the capacity at the moment to support with customization requests via helpdesk.
