I noticed that the Time Left progress bar and countdown were incorrect. When the event is very short, the Time Left progress bar does not move to the left as the time remaining decreases, and the Time Left countdown does not display at all (image A). When the event is longer, then the Time Left countdown does appear, but the amount of time remaining was incorrect (image B).
I found a ticket here asking about this same issue where the “Use UTC offset time globally on calendars (BETA)” fixed their problem so I tried that. Enabling “Use UTC offset…” option did indeed fix the Time Left progress bar and the Time Left countdown (seemingly for both short and long events), but with that option enabled, it began showing an event on the same day that had already passed (images C and D).
I did confirm that I had “Hide past events for default calendar(s)” ON (image E). I also believe that this was working properly, because I first turned the “Use UTC offset” back OFF, then I experimented with “Hide past events…” option. When I turned “Hide past events…” OFF, a same-day past event appeared (image F) and disappeared again after turning this option back ON (image G), as expected. In F and G screenshots, I also had changed TEST EVENT back to draft so it is not seen here.
I am seeking a fix that: displays the Time Left progress bar correctly, displays the Time Left countdown for all live events (regardless of how short/long the event is), and does not result in showing past events. I had hoped enabling the “Use UTC offset…” option would solve this, but seems that causes a past same-day event to show up as well, even though I have selected to hide past events.
Otherwise, I am loving EventOn and it has been the BEST event plugin I’ve found! Thank you in advance!

Hello,
We released several version after 3.1.1. Could you please try updating to 3.1.5 and check if it helps?
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old eventon, activate (Do not delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled) from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
I updated to 3.1.5, and unfortunately the behavior is the exact same as I initially described. Enabling the “Use UTC offset…” option is still required to correctly show the Time Left progress bar and countdown, but still that causes a past same-day event to show up as well, even though past events should be hidden.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Thank you! Looking forward to a solution!

Also, is there an easy way to remove ‘time left countdown and animation’ from the events list?
I have exactly the same problem as Ethan Fechter
