Hello, I bought this plugin and now unfortunately I have to find out that you can’t translate everything with PoEdit. Is there maybe an update? Some texts cannot be translated and are not found with PoEdit.

there are loads of ways to translate the plugin and addons
Thanks, I already know this one. But where can I e.g. Translate settings or language and so on? These two are in the admin menu and are unfortunately not found or translated with PoEdit.
Hello,
In order to translate the backend please use Loco Translate by following this guide: https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/translating-eventon-backend/
This is a pity. Unfortunately this plugin doesn’t work for us. For this reason I also use PoEdit. Perhaps you will look again at the next update and add the missing strings. I would be glad.
Hi,
We will do and if we miss them, we will update them!
Thank you for letting us know.
Hello, unfortunately there weren’t many missing strings in the last update. Should I send you a few screenshots where there are still jobs that are not accepted or are missing?
You can install Loco Translate, create an empty translation in English and then download .po, .pot or .mo file, according to this https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/editor > Download buttons.
I actually thought that such suggestions for improvement would be better accepted here. My only concern is that I want to offer my customers a WordPress site that is purely in German. With a website I could still understand that I use Loco … plugin. But with several different pages that just becomes too much for me. Maybe I am not the only one who wants a 1005 correct translation of the plugin without installing an additional plugin (Loco …). A clean code of the plugin would certainly please one or the other user. Then translations would also work like e.g. here in this example:
…/eventon-admin-settings.php (Row 51)
echo ‘<div class=”update-nag updated”><p>’.__(‘EventON is not activated, it must be activated to use! <a href=”‘.get_admin_url().’admin.php?page=eventon&tab=evcal_4″>Enter License Now</a>’,’eventon’).'</p></div>’;
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
thank you for pointing those out. we will get those resorted in the next version release.
Many Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for the details and all those screenshots, will be great to review them.
We appreciate a lot sending them over.
With pleasure
I’m always available when it comes to something like that. I also want WP plugins to be understandable for everyone.
I thank you in advance.
Thank u for this great feedback!
It is much appreciated it and what we are always looking from our customers!
Hi,
i have the same issue. I want to translate it with PoEdit and not with Loco Translate. Month-Names and a view phrases in backend are not translatet. How can i fix this?
Hallo Björn – mir ist es ähnlich wie dir ergangen und ich möchte es gern mit PoEdit übersetzen und nicht mit einem Extra-Plugin.
Hast du eventuell eine Lösung gefunden?
Hi,
We only reply while speaking English, so we would appreciate if you can switch to that.
