Upcoming events in days instead of months

Hello! I've tried different things but can find the way if there is one. We have a major upcoming event calendar on our front page. As of now, we display 2 month at a time, but at the end of each month (around 20th) the list get very short and basically only 1 month ahead. And if we put 3 months, it's too much a the beginning of each month...

So is there a way to have a short code so the calendar display let say next 45 days (or any number of days) upcoming events so the calendar gets about the same numbers at all time?
