Update EventOn to 2.5.2

Addon (ext display) enabled but not effective — EventOn version too old. Dashboard/Updates doesn’t show any needed. Followed instructions: downloaded 2.5.2 from CodeCanyon, deactivated EventOn, installed from file, got message “Destination folder already exists. C:/xampp/htdocs/xxx/wp-content/plugins/eventON/. Plugin install failed.”

If I delete EventOn & install the new version, will I lose all the events I have?

  No, the events will not be deleted.
  
  However, just to be safe, do a complete backup of your site, before replacing the plugin folder.
