When "googlecal" is clicked on an event, it gets displayed with an extra hour. The time zone is entered correctly on Wordpress & Eventon

a customer clicked on an event and clicked on “googlecal” on the pop-up to enter it into her google calendar. The event got added but with an extra hour. We’ve tried to find the issue but failed.

For example if the event is at 8.00 a.m, the google calendar shows it as 9.00 a.m.

I need a way to fix this asap as we are using your plugin for a festival and this problem has some of our customers confused.

      Hello,

Could you go to EventON > Time Settings > enable Use UTC offset time globally on calendars?

Please send us wp-admin access to your site as a private message for us to further assist your situation.

Could you go to EventON > Time Settings > enable Use UTC offset time globally on calendars? – we have already done this

Is there anything you can do to help us without requesting access as the festival happens in a few weeks and if something goes wrong, the entire festival is at risk

Could you try updating EventON to 4.5.5? But make sure to have the copy of 4.5.4 version to revert to it, if something goes wrong.

Are you having similar issue with this event from our test site:

Could you please try going to EventON > Time > offset the time by using “Custom eventon only time offset value (in minutes)”?

Hi, we did as you asked, but now teh event calendar is showing all our events one hour late. How can we undo this?

    • Artem Jan 16,2024 AT 4:02AM - Posted 1 year ago - #337022

4.5.6 version is available now. Please backup your current version of the plugin and then update. It should solve your issues.

To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure “Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
