Hi.
Creating or modifying an event, when I insert the “Event image”, opening and selecting the image from Media takes a long time, after clicking the “set event image” button the image preview is not loaded and saving the event the site goes into error, “502 Bad Gateway – nginx”, it is necessary to wait several seconds before the site works correctly again.
How do I solve this problem?
The site is fontanamix.it you will see that not all events on the homepage have the Event Image.
I take this opportunity for another question, is it possible to increase the size of the event box? If so, how? Maybe by arranging them in two columns.
Now I use this shortcode
[add_eventon_list tiles=”yes” tile_count=”24″ tile_bg=”1″ number_of_months=”24″ fixed_year=”2025″ hide_empty_months=”yes” tiles=”yes” event_order=”ASC” tile_count=”1″]
thanks in advance

Hello,
Please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.
Hello
Thanks for the quick response.
I have activated the creation of the debug file, you can find it at this link: https://fontanamix.it/wp-content/debug.log
If needed I will send you the FTP credentials.
Waiting for the solution, thank you.

debug.log doesn’t have anything related to the issue, it seems like.
However, when I check your events, they are working correctly:
Are you still having the issue? Could you check and let us know?
It still doesn’t work very well.
I can only say that, by chance, I happened to select the “Event Image” and have to wait before saving the post.
That’s how it worked. It doesn’t seem normal to me… most of the time after selecting the image and clicking the button, the preview is not loaded in the Event Image box, if that’s the case, even saving the event lacks the association to the selected image.
I ask you another question: my client asks if it is possible to increase the size of the event box to show the full image?
If yes, how? Maybe by arranging them in two columns.
Now I use this shortcode
[add_eventon_list tiles=”yes” tile_count=”24″ tile_bg=”1″ number_of_months=”24″ fixed_year=”2025″ hide_empty_months=”yes” tiles=”yes” event_order=”ASC” tile_count=”1″]
can I change it to get what i asked for?
Grazie!
When I go to Posts and try to do the same I believe the same issue occurs. It takes 1s-3s to load each individual image:
https://fontanamix.it/wp-admin/post.php?post=5267&action=edit
It seems that the issue isn’t with EventON, but overall with the whole server.
is possible to increase the size of the event box to show the full image?
Which event box are you referring to? Could you send us a screenshot?
I also think that the problem is related to the server, but the hosting provider told me that he did not encounter any problems, but he proposed that I switch to a more performing service…
As for my question, sorry but I didn’t give you the reference … on the homepage: https://fontanamix.it/ you can see the result of the EventON short code see Screenshot_01.jpg image
I would like the events to be arranged by month in two columns, for example as in the image Screenshot_03.jpg using the representation and proportions of the event detail (when clicked on) as in the image Screenshot_02.jpg
is it possible?
thanks
Please remove one of tile_count=”1″ from the shortcode and make sure that the second one is set to 2.
Oh, thank you!
With your help and a CSS rule I got the client’s wishes.
Have a nice day
