I have a description of all my locations, but it does not seem to show up anywhere on the event card.

How do I get the description to display on the event card? And is it displayed anywhere else on the site?

Location Description is visible on location pages you can find by going to wp-admin > Events > Event Location > View. You cannot show it on Event Card at the moment.
However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster. OR You can submit a customization request to 3rd party developers via Customize EventON Page.
Sure.. I understand that.. But what is the point of having a location page that users cannot access from the event card? If I click the name of the location, I am taken to the website of the location – not the location page itself. Is it somehow possible to change that? So when I click on the location name from the event card I am taken to the location page?
Please go to wp-admin > Events > Event Location > View > copy URL > paste it to Event Location > Location Link.
That’s not a great solution. Then the locations real URL’s will not be displayed anywhere. Not even on the location pages. Also in a previous message you write that “Location Description” will be shown on the location pages.. That is actually not the case. Check out this one: https://dev.webfar.dk/vaf/event-location/nordisk-film-biografer-fotorama-en/ there is no description. Really, it makes no sense that users cannot get to the location pages from the front end. And to make a hack like this doesn’t make sense either. Please add it to the next update 🙂 And no, I will not create a new ticket with suggestions to upvote.
I apologize.. The description is displayed on the page. And it’s actually possible to add HTML to the description so I can display a link there instead.. Still not a great solution, but good enough for now.
