Hi. My client has a repeating event with instances each Friday. For Jul and Aug, she needs to cancel those events and resume in Sep. She has several customers who have purchased tickets for events before Sep.
I was going to mark them as cancelled using the Repeat Customizer add-on but my client doesn’t want cancelled events being displayed for 2 months in the calendar. She’d rather they be removed outright. So in another support ticket, I was told I could delete instances in Event Repeat Type > Custom. This works but ends up shifting purchased tickets ahead when viewing the details in Events > All Events Tickets.
For example, a customer purchased a ticket for the Jul 16 class. When I delete that instance, the Event Ticket details jumps forward to the next week on Jul 23. So when I delete 2 months worth of instances, any purchased tickets have their dates moved up significantly to later dates. Won’t this incorrectly tell the customer that they’re eligible to take a class on a day they may not have chosen?
Will the customer be able to see this shift in date or are they only able to see the original date for the ticket listed? I don’t want customers thinking they have access to a class they’re not supposed to or been moved to a class on a day they can’t attend.

Ryan, it is VERY IMPORTANT!!! NOT to delete repeat instances after customers have purchased tickets on it. Because the repeat event data are stored in multi dimensional array with key association and deleting any would jump others to its place and would alter the time of the event time.
