I am running WordPress 6.6.2 and attempting to upgrade my EventON from 4.6.1 to 4.7.1, but when I select “upgrade plugin” I get the following message: “The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”
I created a CodeCanyon account, but I have nothing in the “downloads” section on there. My email address is pastorholda@gmail.com; that’s the email I used when I purchased EventON years ago, and it’s the same email I used to create a new codecanyon account today. I have no record of having a codecanyon account in the past.
I’m attempting to upgrade EventON because a lot of really funky things are happening on my website event calendar and I want to upgrade before tinkering with it.
Please Help!
Sincerely,
Bob Holda
Hello,
We don’t have any access to your account on CodeCanyon.
Please contact them about restoring access to your account.
You can also wait until fix the autoupdate issue. The fix will be available very soon.
Okay, I’ve realized the problem. We (the church I work for) paid a company by the name of Entropics Design (Tyler Koltz) to create our website. He must have had a CodeCanyon account, through which he purchased EventON for our website. He installed in via WordPress. He never gave us access to his CodeCanyon account. Entropics Design is now out of business and I am not able to get into contact with Tyler Koltz. But we still have EventON and need to upgrade it.
What do you recommend?
