Hello,
I created a new test event and it seems to be working correctly:

I receive it like this
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
OK thank you Artem 🙂
Hey Alain,
One thing – if you can – can you please post which characters are those dynamic characters, so we can be able to understand and test it also from our side?
à – â – ä – é – è – ê – ë – ï – î – ô – ö – ù – û – ü – ÿ – ç.
À Â Ä Ç É È Ê Ë Î Ï Ô Ö Ù Û Ü Ÿ
æ, œ, Æ, Œ

OK, I can see those characters now.
Allow us some time to see how we can integrate them to the platform so we can confirm how thye work.
OK thank you Basilis.
We released RSVP 2.7. Could you check if you still have the issue?
RSVP installed I will check again
try this patch fix and see if it work.
Hey Alain,
Sorry but not clear, are the issues shorted out or not?
Great! Do you need our help in anything else?
Hey Alain,
We will fix that also, no worries 🙂
interesting because I can see the email that is sent is indeed properly formatted https://healings.one/wp-admin/post.php?post=5300&action=edit&debug=true&type=notification_email
Hello Ashan,
Yes you are right.
This was to show you cases where characters are OK and where they are not, depending on the type of emails.
Here as sample of wrong email received today :
Hmm it works fine for new rsvp admin email in gmail for me.
Can you maybe forward the incorrect email to info@myeventon.com and see if opening that in gmail will work.
OK I just forwarded you 3 of them from the latest ones.
Hmm i have not received those/ Can you please resend them and set subject as “TID 221886” thanks
Hi Alain,
Can u tell me one thing, what is your email / browser encoding? I think the problem persists because of your browser encoding at this stage
Hi,
so you understand that this is not from our side as some are ok and other not right?
Hi, it can’t be from us. We use the same encoding everywhere.
Yes, I agree with you 🙂
So how are you going to fix this issue ?
I explained right?
Sure, I think this is right!

Alain, i made a change in the code to remove html_entity_decode() from title field. That was the difference in notification email vs others. See if that worked?
Found it, I am going to do several tests now. You may receive several notification emails. If so please ignore 🙂
here is what I found out. You are using a SMTP plugin to send out emails. I think you will need to make sure they support UTF-8 characters because if I type the event title with those characters direct into the email body they still get encoded into weird letters. — Which tells me the encoding is happening outside of eventON mail method.
HOLY CRAP!! I got it to work!! Voila!
This is what I changed.
Ok i will add these UTF character changes to next RSVP release. For now you should be able to use this. And I added it to emailing class so it will effect all the other emails as well.
This is huge!!
Hello Ashan,
Congrats ! It works lovely well now :-)))
Thanks for the huge effort of bug hunting !
This should make happy all your customers from Europe and LATAM as we use accented characters in most languages.
Cheers
Alain
