Yes John I saw it on the demo site. But I am not sure where it is coming from because we stopped using ?ri= variable from the URL. And moved to ../var/ value. I will keep an eye on this to see if I can track on where this get pushed in as I dont have an immediate solution for you and we are runnin on eventON 2.8.7 beta.

Your license for eventON is deactivated from our server so you should be able to activate it in the new site if not please send us the wp-admin to new site where u are trying to activate and we can take a look for you. This ticket is private.

Actually the receive updates about event field will only be checked when the “email attendees” option is used to send emails to attendees. Otherwise this will not send updates. And this is not related to eventON it is RSVP addon.

Yes you can delete this file. But I dont know if deleting will do the trick. Because usually these types of viruses create this file dynamically so if u delete it, the virus will create it again.

EventON plugin does NOT come with this file “wp-content/plugins/eventON/assets/js/add_to_calendar.js” It appears this file may be added by your website.  What this tells me might be that your website may have been compromised with the trojan. Please contact your web host to see if they can assist with removing the virus.
