As default event types are set in the settings panel, it cannot be changed to another type for separate forms.
It will require custom coding to achieve the function you are looking for.
You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.

In the same order as your questions, here are my answers:
1. The slider yes is the standard pictures slider module of the event
2. Itinerary using the event scheduling module – standard behaviour, upon selection it opens down a short description
3. The hosts are the organizers
4. Related liveaboards – on click it will open the event pop-up
