Hello Greg, Would you mind sharing wp-admin access to your site and FTP if you do not mind and I can take a look and see why the labels are still showing even with your code changes.

Thank you for letting us know, we will implement this in 4.9.10 and also the ability to auto hide past related events from the list. Kindly allow us sometime to get this implemented .

It works fine on our end with latest 4.9.10 eventON — we have couple things to wrap up and then we will release this new version.

Hello,

Please send us wp-admin access to your site as a private message for us to further assist your situation.

Also try going to EventON > EventCard > make sure that “RSVP Event Box” is added.

Hello Bodo, thank you sooo much for this insight!!! fusion = Avada theme, dashes and symbols mean encrypted data. It seems Avada is adding this post meta value to each event post from their font management. Perhaps misconfigured avada? may be try reaching out to them.

It might be google fonts hosted locally on your site causing it to store that font data as postmeta. Check in Avada settings for Google font awesome font mode

I will share a code here to set up a cronjob to periodically clean up that heavy postmeta data. — here I also added code to stop avada from saving post meta when event is saved.

Thank you very much Bodo for being patient with this issue and helping us and you figure this issue out. I think lot of eventON users on Avada theme is struggling with this slow load time. and now I wonder if they are all experiencing similar issues.

May be we might consider adding an option in eventON settings to disable anything from fusion from saving into event post meta. 🙂
