Actually if you look at the code. the description for OG:meta data is empty so facebook is using page content to fill its own info. So once you add event details the description info will be filled with correct information.

Thank you for your response.  Can you also let me know about the second part dealing with the Facebook sharing interface.  The data is really in need of a little work so it is readable.  Any help would be appreciated as our base uses this a lot.

We understand the concern.

First, we highly recommend you backup phpmyadmin database and your website files in wp-content folder. You can ask your host for support for this.

Next, go into eventon settings and save Do not delete eventon settings when I delete EventON plugin and then Save Changes.
