What I told you is the proper way to change it without interfering with the codebase — using pluggable filters. If you made changes in the code directly it will not withstand once updated.
With that beign said, here is the part of the code you can change, should you choose to go that route.
Granted, this part of the code is for all event types not just one.

Ive released an update to EventON plugin v2.6.13 please update to that version and that will fix this issue ๐
I just uploaded the latest eventon version and that seems to have fixed the issue ๐
We are glad your issue is resolved, if you have any further questions or concerns please create a new ticket.
Hi,
2.4.10 is very very old version of the plugin.
We are currently on 2.6.12 version.
I will recommend updating eventon to latest version and checking once.
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old eventon install new one and activate and delete old eventon. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
