If I leave it as “events” then people can still go to scomm.com/events and see the bad looking page. I’ve been making websites for 20 years, believe me I have read your documentation.

I just changed the name of the page to /upcoming-events/ and everything returned to normal. What settings do I have to change to regain control of the slug “/events/”?

See the attached image of what the page is supposed to look like.

I have already custom created the events page. It was working just fine. (I do not want to use Events Directory *renamed) I want to use Events. This page has a header, a slider, then the  eventOn shortcode for full calendar view and shortcode for list view, call to action, then footer.

If  I choose  [ Select Events Page: Events Directory ]  it replaced the entire Events page with the EventOn list. (as you have shown above where you say “No issues on this page:”) But that is not at all what I want that page to look like.

If I choose [ Select Events page: Events ] I see my custom-created events page but it no longer displays the shortcode that I have put into it.

I considered that this might be an issue of the page being named “/events/” so I changed the slug in EventON to be /all-events/ but see no change.

I’m sharing this again: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rbvrXhmhsq0rGBXgQB-LgBDJlhEdZlVn/view This is what the page should look like except between the blue slider bar and “Questions” I have two columns with EventOn shortcode that do not display.  ALSO, in the header where you see “EVENTS” That should not be uppercase. It’s not uppercase in the back end or any custom styling – this happened with the EventON hijack of the page.

None of this was a problem before yesterday – I explained in my original ticket what changes I had made that could have an effect.

Hosting company has increased PHP memory and execution time, still not loading calendar, only events.  Calendar starts to load but never loads.

I responded to the email with a screenshot and hadn’t heard anything since.  Does your system not accept incoming emails?

The submitted screenshot is from Firefox.  Edge has the same problem.

Just opened the customization request and added a link to the plugin in its current form.

Thank you for your quick reply and helping me resolve this for my client. They will be relieved!
