This is correct. For security issues we do not escape HTML there, this way we avoid to have the theme been hacked for any reason.

It seems there is an incompatibility issue with the theme. Please try following https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/how-to-customize-events-archive-page/ or this suggestion:

PROTIP: If the /events page does not work due to theme/plugin conflicts, create a new page, call it “Events Directory” Insert eventon shortcode and use that as your main events page which will have a URL ending like /events-directory. This would be a perfect solution if you have conflicts with /events slug.

Unfortunately, no. It seems that https://www.beniciaonthebay.com/go/ doesn’t allow any content to go through. Not sure why. Could you try updating EventON to 2.8.5 and API to 1.0.2?

Unfortunately, you cannot enable Countdown from Action User – Event Submission Form or Action User – Event Manager.

Meanwhile as a temporary solution please add this CSS code to EventON > Styles (If you can’t see any change, EventON > turn off Write styles to header > save settings > turn on Write styles to header) to hide it:

Thanks for the quick reply. I need more flexibility in what events are to be displayed, i.e. showing next 5 regardless of month in Tiled format. Also I would need the month jump functionality for categories, not just months.

I really like the plugin and think it works well but unfortunately we don’t have the budget to pay £40 a month for the List Extension plugin which I think would help with some of the above.

Could you also try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.

Could you send us the contents of your Developer Console after you pressed “ЗАРЕГИСТРИРОВАТЬСЯ” button?
