I checked the homepage inside but could not find the shortcode anywhere.

I tried you shortcode on a test page and it does show just 3 upcoming events. It seems to be working fine:

1) we can use this code below without the “number of months” and it should work the way we need (with the add-on), correct? It seemed to be doing that in the test environment.

1. You need this add-on: https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-lists-extended/.

Please try it on http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/

2. You can try to use the add-on from 1. with pagination enabled:

show_limit="yes" show_limit_ajax="yes"

but you won’t be able use months arrows as they are working only for Main Calendar.

3. Please fix this error:

Another option for item #2 would be to have a way to show more month (so, it doesn’t have to be exactly as stated above). I know it wouldn’t make sense to have NOVEMBER (for example) at the top with arrows if below it shows NOV and DEC. So, a “Show more events” would make more sense, then it could show the next 2 months, and so on plus give options to go back. But would still like the “Event Type” dropdown so people can sort.
