Cath, we have done some updated to schema that is probably why you saw issues after update sorry about that. We have now resolved is stably. As you can see above, description is passed in JSON-LD schema data and as a itemprop value for description and google structured data tester show description correctly in both JSON-LD and regular schema data types on the single event page.
Single event page is what is important as that is what google search crawlers will use to index your website.

Could you update EventON to 2.8.5 and then replace the widget on https://eliancesglobal.com/washington-dc with http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/use-eventon-shortcode-executor-widget/ where you need to put the shortcode from this page: https://eliancesglobal.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=5091&action=edit&classic-editor
It seems there was an incompatibility issue with your caching plugin. I added this code to EventON > Styles so now it should work:
.evoau_location_select { display: inline-block !important; }

Okay – we will update the site.
Usual updates show up below the plugin in the plugins section of WordPress – however, EventOn isn’t showing any updates required in this section of the backend website.
This will be why it has never been updated from the original installation.
Can you please provide a guide on how to update the plugins recommended?

You are correct. It was Modern Tribe that provided the church with the free premium Event plugin. How do I cancel and get a refund for this add-on? I did not want it to renew and I contacted you as soon as I saw the payment go through.
