I believe that there is an issue with memory limit that can be fixed by increasing it:

Also the time zone setting I change from London to Auckland save, but it is not showing as Auckland when I go back into it the next time.

We are aware of the issue and include the fix in the next version.

The latest version of EventON is 4.9.1.

You can also follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.
