Hello Erich, thank you for the message and for letting us know of your issue with events eating up your server memory and slowing everything else.

This is indeed an issue we are seeing more often with EventON and we are working on finding ways to completely address this at the core. Looking at your website stats. Event post meta is only taking up 10% of the whole table. Events should not cause huge delays in loading content to the page. 

We do use taxonomies and term meta save in ‘evo_tax_meta’ in wordpress options. We are going to add that data into eventON stats in version 4.9.10. Then we can get a clear idea on why events are taking lot of memory. I think the taxonomy queries with tax meta might be where this bottleneck is.

Would you mind sharing the latest wp-admin access information via right side Access information option?
