1: I am hiding past events (theres loads of events that are loading in the past on full cal that serve no purpose- it is nice to show that you have a busy website so if you want to show past events create an archive page for that- but on that full cal on test 22 I have only made it show future events (far less to load)
2: the events list just by itself will load fast
3: the full cal is loading but in the backend so you don’t see it load- so when you switch to it its already gone through its loading process
4: if you click the day option its back to being slow (we could hide that via css)

Images should have width 1920 and then any height you like. I think that I was wrong about 1080. Please use 1920 as reference, so images can be 1920×1080 or 1920×1360 and so on.
Monitors of most users are 1920 and up, so 1920 is the best.
