About your issue. I see whats going on. Let me work on this and get you a fix here quickly!
Also the shortcode used on the alendar page was full of errors asking for pagination and exerpts etc it also called the tile background without activating tiles
use the shortcdoe generator at eventon>>>>settings>>>>shortcodes
this will create your shortcodes without the errors
there is no way to get the excerpt onto the event top with eventon lite nor with the paid version
you can create additional fields with eventon lite and paid versions however only in the paid version from codecanyon can they appear on the event top
(so you would create an additionl field and copy and paste whatever words you want the excerpt to be but it wont pull the excerpt from the event)
Bradley, terribly sorry about the confusion caused by the verbiage. EventON Full “supports” all addons, as in provide framework to support the addons to function. Where as lite version does not have the framework to support addons to function.

I think you may have already discovered the location of this code. Below is where to edit the code. In the latest update 4.6.4 we made this be ordered by event post_title value.
It is a tricky item because some people might want is like this and you want it by post_date. For this to use a settings option I feel would be an overkill 🙂
May be I can add a pluggable filter in here so you can use that to change to the way you desire 🙂
Are you running the latest version 1.2.5 of seats addon? if so kindly share a link to where we can see your mentioned issue.

I am terribly sorry but your subscription is no longer valid and you can not download the content if your subscription has expired.
This is the eventON main plugin. It is sold via codecanyon.net but EventON addons are sold at myeventon.com — 2 different websites.
So in order to transfer an eventON addon license you need to purchase a test addon which will create an account and then we can transfer license to that account and refund the test addon purchase.

Greg was the original purchase of addons done on discounted prices? If so that is the only discount we have on offer for nonprofits at the moment.
