Super!! thank you Cristiano for the update! You can try installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ plugin and see how many database queries are run by EventON vs elementor. those could seriously eat up memory. 

We are working on indexing the events in the next version so we can cut back on heavy db queries. 

Which pages are you seeing slowness? is it event edit page? 

Ah gotcha, so are you wanting the event to hide only after the date is over? not based off current time? But rather on current date? 

THis settings in the eventON settings is not working properly and I am working on fixing it up. 

Can you please let me know (again 🙂 – sorry )  what you really want it to do? 🙂

Ok was able to change the return value type and get this to work.

What is interesting is same URL run on our end works great with no issues. This is the error I get. So let me see what I can do about this on your website.

Hello bw, 2 issues here. 

For events not appearing/dissapearing. We are working on resolving with a better fix that properly take into effect timezones. 

For slowness:  in version 4.4 we switched to endpoint ajax calls and that was suppose to speed things up from various articles online. However for certain websites that seems to slow things compared to admin-ajax method. So we are working on bringing the admin-ajax method back with option to choose which method. 

Which old version do you need? I guess at which version did you notice this issues?

We made changes to the live site since our support request so I wasn’t able to push the staging site to our live version. I added your CSS, but could you please apply the settings to get the event time and tag labels to appear?
