OK thank you Ashan.

I have disabled the event progress bar. I have also re-enabled caching on https://www.portnow.com.au/event-directory/ (infotainerdave disabled it while he was working on the issue)

RE: “I will recode it to use event end time unix to calculate the remaining time based on UTC0 time” – Please ensure the time displays as Sydney Australia time (for both standard and daylight savings time when applicable).

FYI, the other ticket in progress is https://helpdesk.ashanjay.com/ticket/locations-not-displaying-correctly/ – might be worth working on both together to get everything resolved.

I appreciate you putting a focus on this.

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback.
Now this works great. Although this is a bit complicated for non-programmers, it can be done. Maybe it would be better to visualize this via a simpler way in the backend of the plugin settings.

You know what lets do this, since you have invest so much time into this and have eventON and cache everywhere on your website – 

disable the progress bar for now. I will recode it to use event end time unix to calculate the remaining time based on UTC0 time. We can give that a try and see if it would solve the issue. I feel it will as the event end unix time, even cached would be the same unlike gap value, which we are using now.

The custom styles were added by you guys. If you scroll up through this support thread you will see.

These styles were given to fix layout of organizer and category taxonony but since you have removed styles it’s broken again – see 2 screenshots

Ss, I am back to where I started on 4 August. I’m sure you can understand how frustrated I am now!

This is only compounded by a failure to get a resolution on https://helpdesk.ashanjay.com/ticket/progress-bar-showing-wrong-time-remaining-to-non-logged-in-users/ due to incompatibility with WP Rocket.

Perhaps these two tickets should be combined into one and dealt with by you personally, because it seems I have to repeat myself each time another support staff member is assigned.
