I have completed the above steps and deactivated all other plugins and switched themes to no effect. In the end I deleted the existing folders for EventOn and Action User, uploading new copies (downloaded from the dashboard) and this resolved the issue. Since the copies in place were up to date, I have zero idea why this solved the issue but the above console issues are no longer present and I am running the identical loadout of plugins, theme, and server settings.

Sorry but I saw that today at 10.00 AM Italian time our server with Jitsi on it was shut down. I proceeded to turn it on now (13.10 Italy time) and I canceled the automatic shutdowns to be able to let you do all the tests you need.
