Hi Kenneth!

So, three things:

First, I’m noticing that I don’t have the screen listed in that tutorial. I have “Eventcard,” and I have “Custom Data,” but I don’t have “Eventcard Data” anywhere in my settings.

Second, I think that the tutorial linked is possibly out of date. It is from 2017, and everything that the tutorial teaches is currently replaced by the “Custom Data” function, unless I’ve misunderstood. I really think “Custom Data” replaces the function that the code in that tutorial creates.

Thirdly, though, I already have two Custom Data fields active, and I’m quite happy with those. I’m looking to modify the existing “Social Share” box. Either that, or I would need code to create a third Custom Data field where I can add Text and social share icons… which, I’m only guessing, feels like a lot more work than adding text to the box that already has them.

I greatly appreciate all of the help getting this figured out! We are very excited to get a solid calendar of events on our church website! This plugin is going to solve a lot of problems for us. Thanks again!

Could you update EventON to 4.3.4? It will solve the issue.

To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure “Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate.
