Hello Ryan, yes you are correct the CSS code has an error. please apply this patch fix direct to the file and I willg et this changed in the next version update.

Instead of coping DB, have you tried cloning the whole website with this or similar plugin:

After, you can just delete the content you don’t need.

Now you can create a page showing just one list of events:
