You need to insert date/time to these variables:
evcal_srow UNIX event start value
evcal_erow UNIX event end value
For location id please use:
evo_location_tax_id Location taxonomy ID

Since you have custom versions of RSVP email templates, please update them as well:
https://wijs.munio.nl/wp-admin/theme-editor.php
Go to RSVP plugin folder and find new versions of templates in /templates folder.
so curveball just came up…I updated to version 5 and it crashed the site. we have 5 deactivated and the site is back up, but i am not sure what the best course of action is. Also we did not do a backup before updating the plugin. Just wondering what the best thing to do is to keep all the event information there is we reinstall an older version of the plugin, and how to go about that…

EventON 5.0 is available now. Please update and then clear your browser cache to make sure that the fix has been applied correctly.
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure “Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!

Also we noticed that the reminders are not bien send. We only get strange empty mails.
