Make sure to select “Content Type: Button” during the creating process.

If you want to add the button through the code, please follow

so there is no way to make this work? Is there a make to work? Or do I need to look for another event solution? Thanks

Sam that was a pretty good work around!!! I was kind of thinking the same haha. Ok so this dynamic post ID is not supported at the moment. Let me add the support for this in the next version 5.0

This is for the individual event pages for each event…and creating a custom template for those individual pages per your request above: 

I am terribly sorry Sam, I sent some time with this oxygen editor. I am not able to figure this out. It kind of seems like the oxygen template is not set up for events correctly?Would you be able to reach out to them and see how you can set custom template for custom post types?  So that custom post type post content would show in the middle of the page with other page elements around it.

this shortcode is going on the template page that all of the single events will be published too. how do i generate a shortcode that would automatically recognize each individual event, not having to enter the event id each time? As this is going on a template, this is not possible. 

I have this working on another site without a shortcode
