Thanks for your response!

Is it possible to preselect a filter option by adding a shortcode attribute?

For example: selected_month=9

I am using the Event Location to filter the events I want to display.

The problem is, today is August, for a specific Event Location, the next events are in December. If I use the Event List or Calendar, I cannot set the starting month … the month will always start with August, not with the month of the first available event.
