Thanks Ashan. I’m an iPhone and Mac user and it still doesn’t work in safari. I cleared my cache etc and same issue in that browser. I can see it working in google chrome but safari is a must as well.
i also see there’s a new version of eventon out. If you’ve tweaked code on my site, how do I know when I can update? Or does updating not affect your changes?
did you get the required field options working?
thanks
no where in here did I give you those? you have the solution up a few messages you say: I saved the myeventon>>>setings>>>event card page where the heck are these settings at???
Yes it is and we have refractor the code to resolve this issue and will be releasing an update soon 🙂
ok got it working for you. And terribly sorry for it not working out of the box.
we will release update to review addon and eventON that will also have these fixed codes in it 🙂

Ok so google calendar does not support RSS feed populating direct into google calendar because RSS feed is XML feed, and google calendar use ICS, so you need a 3rdparty feed parser to process RSS feed into RFC-5545 for google calendar.
You can use auto tools like Zapier, IFTTT to convert RSS to iCalendar feed for google map. But what you have set right now to use .ics file for google is the best method. And I do see that the line length applies here for .ics file — this will be addressed in eventON 4.9.6
Hello my friend, Google is indeed the biggest calendar lets get the RSS file fixed up so it works for you and all the others that rely on it 🙂
I thought the issue was with ICS download that is why I mentioned next eventON update will fix it. But if its RSS addon allow us sometime to get this resorted. I dont think it will take too much time 🙂 may be we can get a new update out soon – fingers crossed!
On our local site with no restrictions using google maps API work fine.

this date bubble issue should be resolved in latest version 4.9.5
