With default theme and disabled plugins you cannot see any events:

One last observation – even though the calendar is eventually coming up, it’s taking longer to load and it’s not show…

Please try adding this to the shortcode: filter_type=”select”

You can install Action User Plus https://www.myeventon.com/addons/action-user-plus/ and add userroles=”editor” to the shortcode to show events with only this user role.
