Hey JP thanks a lot for reporting this 🙂 here is the patch fix to resolve this issue.

As for the page color on checking page at the moment the best option is to add custom styles to override the default and I will add these into appearance in future updates 🙂

Adding something like below to eventON settings > styles will do the trick

.evo_checkin_page.no {

    background-color: #db6e58;

}
