Sorry, was out due to health emergency and back with same issue. 

I made a new admin for EventOn and sent details via the Access Info as requested.

Just wanted to remind you that we did some custom stuff to the plugin (all of it was done with the EventOn team – so nothing rogue that I just added, all code you either implemented or gave me for css or functions.php kinda stuff.)

I just don’t want to break our functionality of the customization we have when trying to fix the missing backend button.

I believe that the number of weekly repeats causes the issue:

Each repeat is a new event that needs to be loaded that can cause the performance issue.

Could you try going to EventON > Advanced > try a different Select event calendar WP Query method and also enabled Cache calendar events list data?
