Please try adding this to the shortcode:

hide_mult_occur=”yes”

Also go to EventON > Time Settings > make sure that ”Default Event Timezone” is the same as wp-admin > Settings > General > Timezone.

So, if I understand correctly, English events have no ”var” ending, because English is recognized as default by eventON?

In that case – to answer your question – I could imagine this:

it would look nicer to the customer’s eye,
if the ending was something like for example ”de” or ”deutsch” instead of ”var/ri-0.l-L2”

Tonya, please try what artem suggested and also please try updating to latest eventON version 5.0.10 — which resolve the lightbox issue.
