I just checked EventON Settings and the latest version introduced new option: EventON > Maps API > enable Use Openstreetmap API to get geolocation coordinates.

Could you try enabling it, so Lat/Long values can be generated by OpenSteetMap? This way you can enable restrictions on Google Map API.

I had one other question…When you go to the “Organizer” in the Event Card, and you click on “Learn More” it provides information about the organizer…

Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.

Hello,

Could you try disabling plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue, because as I previously said in your other ticket when your theme is enabled and also EventON + Tickets + WooCommerce are enabled, the page starts working correctly:

The memory limit was increased to 1024MB and it has made no difference at all. I have restored the backup I made at the time the issue was first raised to you. The hosting company cannot resolve this so please will you investigate further with the temp login that was previously provided?

Hello,

Currently you are using Event Lists shortcode [add_eventon_list], but if you want to be able switch between months, then you need to use Main Calendar shortcode [add_eventon]:

Please try and let me know.

i really dont get how to set up repeating event that would for example repeat every Sunday. If i set the event information and make it repeating, it sums it up for mondays – like in all events.

Hi Darren and EventOn Support,

I believe that I have figured out this issue. Please watch this video for details:

https://www.loom.com/share/b5bd7df640ba4b75ae86c48f6a62f865?sid=c79c8063-5e9b-4dff-8958-9914bc0af6c8

After upgrading the DEBUG site from using PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.3, I created a brand new Debug event completely from scratch here and did not encounter the date/year bug https://debug.coloradooutside.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4684&action=edit

This means that 2 things need to be done going forward on the Live site:

  1. The Live site needs to be ungraded to use PHP 8.3 to make it more compatible with the latest version of the EventOn plugin
  2. Any recurring event courses need to be created from scratch for 2025 and beyond. No more cloning old recurring courses or editing them to add additional recurring dates.

Update….I got the maps to work on the subsequent event cards. I had to disable the http referrers and generate lat/long coordinates for the cards….it then started working again…I assume I can turn back on the http referrer restriction? I can always test it….That said…my other questions still are in need of your assistance. 🙂
