Thanks, seems to be working now. This was the fix? Is it a bug? I don’t understand 🙂

We’ve realised that our theme doesn’t have bulk select on other features on our website, so this is a theme issues and not a EventOn issue.

Our developer has mentioned though that Event on is slowing down our site. These are his comments:

“it seems that EventOn is loading the entire corpus of event data on each initialization. Instead of loading only the events range that should be set by a shortcode (I guess?), like 1 week, 1 month etc. Also it is possible that it does that even on the pages with no shortcode. The expected behavior is the plugin should perform no database requests whatsoever on pages where it’s not referenced (without events elements). and only load a limited data range where it is. Event ON plugin is called 1000! times per minute. While our throughput is 50 reqs per minute max. (attached a screenshot).”

Please advise your comments and what can be done to fix this situation.

Regards

Kate

Is “Allow only logged-in users to submit RSVP” enabled on your website?

Yes

You can do the same from the event page, just open it in Incognito mode, then find user’s RSVP with their email and change. I am not doing a workaround. I am not fiddling with my browser settings or opening a new window. This should be done correctly via the application. Why do users have to do workarounds?

Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.

I already submitted a feature request. If it is such a great suggestion, then it should be added to the application without having to lobby to get something done. Users want an application that works without having to be part of the testing and development. I am a hack at MySql and PHP but I know the basics of database queries. Changing a list to a sorted list is a simple database query change (changing one argument in one line of code) – it should not be a big deal.

I don’t think you understand how much time I have spent submitting tickets and testing your applications. You have a great product but you really should be doing testing etc. yourselves and not releasing versions that are not working as expected. Damn it’s frustrating.

Also got your tickets addon auto updates from your website.

THe problem was your license keys for the addons were not the correct ones. So I had to deactivate them and find your licenses from our site and activate again. And then try update, which then sent the correct license information to our server and got it updated correctly.
