Just checking your website. And for me it loaded the image few times pretty quickly. The loading image text is a placement text while the image is loaded into the page. 

So several things can impact this.

If your image is pretty big, or you are on slow connection, then the actual imaging can take some time. 
I would recommend resizing your event images just for the webpage width to make sure they load fairly quickly.

I am seeing the events are loaidng in your calendar now with ajax calls turned off. 

To show 7 days you will need event lists ext. addon https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-lists-extended/

To show just few events use shortcode value event_count=’7′

It was a webshield on our server that was stopping the functionality. It has been resolved now. 

I have activated your license on this website. We will release an update to eventON that will implement few code changes that assist with license activation in the coming days.

I made some adjustments to the shortcode and December is shown on load and I was able to switch between months. Could you check and let me know?

It always shows the title white, even so there are styles from EventON > Appearance > EventTop:

Additionally, is there a way to set the calendar tiles to have a solid background instead of displaying the event image?

Please remove tile_bg=”1″ from the shortcode to remove the image background.
